October 8th

After sorting out the table I have benefitted from it alot, I have sorted out alot of alternartive things.

I now can keep up to date and been using an hour from school to catch out.

Looking through univiersities again I found Leeds met, this is linked to media resources again but media and popular culture, its different compared to radio in ways of jourlism offers and more to do with advertisements.

I did not like this website as much as luton, becuase its too bright colours and find it harder to find the course as you got to be more specific and defining what course I wanted.

With distance and not being able to drive. It un likely i'll be able to visit but looking from Luton. Its still my 1st choice from advertisements and the career is exactly what i'm searching for.

Next week I'll be searching for an open day for Luton as most university have started to allow students into and have a look around.

October the 1st

Media has just started causing an impact as starting to do music video. This is what going to happen now as the coursework has started all of my subject.

I now need to create a table so that in my frees I can catch up upon work and not over run my planning;

So from this I can now be flexible and comfortable with keeping up with things.
As I tend to go down gym often and like unwind after school I will balance out into these timetable, sometime admit i won't stick to these plans due to illness or other things appearing up which I will say if occurs;

So overall I set my standards internally and externally out of scghool and setting priority's of what is more important and can tackle it in non pressured aspects due to deadlines.

Next week I will try and catch up upon university research and also staring to plan out my personal statement.

Overall summary of september

Overall I am pleased that I gained one university that im thoroughly interested in what it has to offer, it has created a visual outlook on what university are like and the general aspects that can appeal to un-graduated people applying.

It has increased my confidence to search for universities and that I now know that I can find the main resources for the career I'm searching for. It shows my indiviudal skills for reserching through internet browsers.

In October I will be planning out a timetable for my exams and will look for another university to find as Ucas asks for five places to apply for.

September 24th

Ordered the prospectus and started researching into it, radio BA hons broadcasting suited me best

Looking at the accommodation it had a wide offer to range and the website also had to offer.

The use of you-tube helped me to look upon students at the university to present what there was to offer, overall I was impressed in what they had to offer and also I found the facilites are really good.

The use of this website I found easy to read off and was presented well which shows the university cares about it's advertisement and recruitment schemes.

Next week I will plan out an open day for luton and reserch into more universitys and if they match resources and offers to this one.

And reserch into predicted grades that I will get out of my A2 and retake as and if I need to retake any last years exams due to grades and points.

September 17th

So from last weeks work I wanted to look into different kinds of universities.

The subject that I want to do in future career is radio broadcasting. I've mostly been inspired by music since the age of 8. Radio one and KERRANG radio have had a combined influence upon me today and I tend to listen to them on a regular bases.

So from these websites I can research into how the radio appeals to people in today's aspects and what kind of standard my career choices could lead up to.

Through looking at universities Luton stuck out mostly in what it had to offer and it resources and career choices which linked towards my research above.

It's owned by Bedfordshire but the campus is based in Luton. This means next week I will order the prospectus to look into further research of accommodation, grants etc, and if there are any open days that don't if not then could re arrange plans.

September 10th

In this session I planned out of what is going to be the most important to work upon achieving my goals.

From tutorials in the school I needed to focus upon setting out a plan of doing my application form for univerisitys.

Getingstarted

Hi im Daniel Bailey, currently working as a student in lutterworth college studying media, leisure hoping to get into university.

This blog is basically about providing my revision and work that i committed when been in advanced learning skills.

I will go through the proceeder's of how I planned out my revision, what use of technology was used and also the good and bad parts of the lesson and how I can improve my self skills.
